WAKE THE FREAK UP ("we," "us," "our") built this app to help you get out of bed, not to harvest your data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it — in plain language.

We collect the minimum we need to run the app and support you. We don't sell your information, we don't give it away, and we don't use it for anything other than running WAKE THE FREAK UP and helping you when you reach out.

• Account info: your email address, which we use to send you a sign-in code. There are no passwords to store.
• Preferences: your wake-up schedule, coach selection, and notification settings.
• Device info: your device model, OS version, app version, and a push notification token, so we can deliver notifications and troubleshoot issues.
• Support requests: whatever you send us when you email support, including your email address and message contents.

We use your information to:

• Deliver your motivational notifications on the schedule you set
• Sign you in and keep your settings in sync across devices
• Respond to support requests
• Keep the app running and fix bugs

Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google. We never see or store your card details — that's handled entirely by their payment systems.

We do not sell your information, rent it, or give it away.

We share it only with the service providers that keep the app running — for example, hosting and push notification delivery — and only to the extent needed for them to do that job. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your data along with it, other than what we're required to keep for legal or accounting reasons.

You can update your schedule and notification preferences any time in the app. To delete your account and the data associated with it, open the app, scroll to the bottom of the main screen and tap Delete account. Your account and your data are removed right away. If you can't get into the app, email us at support@wakethefreakup.com.

WAKE THE FREAK UP is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll remove it.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. We can't guarantee absolute security, and neither can anyone else.

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
